HYLES DIED IN 01 SO WHY ARE YOU STILL SAYING CRAP ABOUT HIM WHEN HE ISN’T HERE ANYMORE? BRO.SHCAAP IS A GREAT PASTOR AND AS A TEEN IN HIS CHURCH I TOTALLY LOVE HIM.(I SPEAK 4 MANY OTHER PEOPLE FOR YOUR INFO.) SO WHY DON’T YOU GET OVER YOURSELF AND LET THE POOR MAN BE. BUT IF HE IS SUCH A “BAD” PERSON THEN WHY DOES HE RUN ONE OF THE BIGGEST CHURCHES IN AMERICA??? JUST WONDERING IF YOU HAD AN ANSWER ME? BUT IF YOU CAN’T I WOUNLDN’T CARE BECAUSE EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN THOUGHT
October 19th, 2007 at 5:35 pmSince when is exposing sin and error wrong? Seems to me pride is still a sin; being foul or crude in your speach is still a sin; unjustified sarcasm and mockery is a sin. Seems to me, you have more problems between you and the Lord than those who are obeying Him and contending for the truth!!
P.S. having a lot of followers doesn’t prove something is of God. Buddhism, Catholicism, Islam, Mormonism - all of these are world religions with many followers - and they are still dead wrong. No, I am not equating Hyles and Schaap to false religions - but wrong is wrong - whether it be in doctrine or in practice.

If Joel Osteen and Rick Warren are such “bad” people then why do they have more people than you do at FBC? Not mocking you, but I’m just trying to point out that your thinking is flawed.
Please, JAX, learn to study the Word and “prove all things” with it. You’ll find that in 1 Thessalonians. I sincerely hope you do this.
